Gerard breathed, one hand clutching a warm mug, the other Bert's warm hand. His breath ghosted out before him in misty puffs of air, and he grinned as it evoked a few childhood memories. <br /><br />Bert tilted his head back, raking a stray lock of black hair from his eyes, and grinned. "Fucking gorgeous. Winter nights are always the best for this."<br /><br />"For what? Stargazing?"<br /><br />"Yeah, exactly."<br /><br />Gerard shifted his gaze from the perfectly clear sky to discover Bert was steadily watching him. <br /><br />"What in the world are you doing?"<br /><br />"Stargazing," he said, grinning widely.
